Experience

  • Lakeshore Advantage is a nonprofit economic development organization driving regional prosperity across West Michigan by supporting business growth, startup innovation, and community investment. As part of the marketing and communications team, I helped align storytelling and content strategy with the organization’s mission — managing photo libraries, creating digital content, and developing materials for major initiatives like LUG Blitz Day and the SURGE startup ecosystem. My work supported consistent social media engagement, strengthened partner visibility, and showcased the region’s thriving entrepreneurial community.

  • Created and implemented targeted social media campaigns to increase awareness of Rocket Companies across various platforms. Used multimedia content to support talent acquisition campaigns, aligning with Rocket Companies' overall brand identity. Additionally, attended Rocket Company events to capture moments through photography and video for social channels, effectively showcasing the company culture and brand.

  • Created diverse posts on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms to promote Penn State University events and student content. Contucted interviews with faculty, students, and staff to highlight their achievements and involvement within the College of Arts and Architecture. Managed and scheduled posts using Hootsuite to ensure consistent, timely content delivery, optimizing audience engagement and reach.

  • Worked with the Director of Creative Services to capture Wish moments at various events. Provided high-quality photographic images for promotional materials, social media, and Wish stories.

  • Gained hands-on experience in state-level policymaking by attending legislative sessions for both the Michigan House of Representatives and the Michigan Senate, observing the legislative process in real time. Supported event planning and execution for high-profile initiatives, including the firm’s State of the State Address reception, contributing to logistics, coordination, and on-site operations. Assisted with daily office functions by managing administrative and organizational tasks, helping ensure efficient workflow and team productivity.

  • At Penn State, I’ve built a strong foundation in strategic communication and creative media. My coursework has spanned advertising, social media marketing, and visual storytelling allowing me to develop skills in both campaign strategy and content creation.

  • At this world-renowned fashion institution, I studied luxury fashion marketing, fashion photography, and editorial styling. I completed hands-on projects in trend forecasting, virtual styling, and brand identity sharpening my creative eye and gaining insight into the intersection of fashion and marketing on a global scale.

  • Through IES Abroad, I spent a semester studying in Rome, where I took courses focused on culture, media, and the arts. Living in the city allowed me to engage directly with its history, creative industries, and everyday life. The experience broadened my perspective and influenced the way I approach storytelling, design, and communication.
